I was still a neophyte to NASCAR. My fraternity worked concessions at NASCAR races when I was in college but I always worked a real job on weekends.

Rusty and Dale Earnhardt traded first places for several action packed laps. It was a sunny cool afternoon with our seats being between Turn 3 and Turn 4. I know these as the cheap seats today. Back then I did not know any better.

Jeff Gordan was on the pole for the race.
