In the Best of Three playoff series, BU already won game 1 the night before 3-2 at Conte. A BU win would propel BU into the semis next weekend at the TD Bank Garden. A loss would force a Game 3 back home.
BC shut out the Terriers 4-0 this night to force a Game 3, which BU eventually won 4-2. BU was knocked off by Maine 1-0 in the Hockey East semi finals the following week.
