Bad Blood

Boston Bruins v Philadelphia Flyers, March 9, 1995

Spectrum, Section 64 Row 4

You can never go to too many Flyers Bruins games. There are still too many fans who fondly remember the 74 Finals. There is still a lot of hatred for the other team out there.

The Flyers jumped out first on a power play with a goal from John LeClair with assists from Eric Lindros and former Bruin Garry Galley. A few more minutes later the same two fed another Legion of Doom line mate, Mikael Reneberg. Later in the period the Flyers jumped to a 3-0 lead when Kevin Dineen scored with Rod Brind'Amour getting the assist.

Ray Bourque put the B's on the board in the 2nd for the period's only goal. Ric Nasland pulled the Bruins within one in the third with Cam Neely and Bourque being credited with assists.
