Philadelphia Eagles v Washington Redskins, December 16, 2001FedEx Field Sec 140 Row 21
My least favorite sports venue. Granted I would never step foot in a domed stadium.
Decent seats, if there is such a thing in an oversized NFL stadium.
The Redskins went ahead 6-0 on 2 Brett Conway field goals, one from 47, the other from 25.
Freddie Mitchell caught a Donovan McNabb 4 yard dump for the game's first TD. David Akers hit a 40 yard field goal before the halftime intermission to give the Birds a 10-6 lead.
In the 3rd, McNabb hit Todd Pinkston for a 62 yard TD hookup and Akers capped off the game's scoring with a 50 yard field goal in the final quarter.
McNabb threw for 235 yards in the game. The Redskins had Tony Banks barking signals. He had comparable numbers to McNabb in the game.
