Finley pitched a 4 hitter for the Angels. In the bottom of the 9th you would expect a game like this for a team to have to manufacture a run. An error to short followed by a steal. This set up California for a Johnny Ray RBI single to put them up 1-0 going into the bottom of the 9th. In a disappointing fashion, Finley worked through the sides and ended the game striking out Ellis Burks swinging.
