Three days after Pittsburgh coach Bob Johnson lost his battle with cancer. A nice tribute to start the game.
Tom Bar-asshole in the nets for the Pens against the Flyers Ken Wregget (until he was pulled for Dominic Rousell). Wregget lived in my apartment complex at the time he played with the Flyers.
Pittsburgh's Kevin Stevens scored a natural hat trick in the first period. Jaromir Jagr and Mario Lemieux chipped in for the Penguins in the 2nd when Pittsburgh pulled ahead to a 6-0 lead.
The Flyers Rod Brind'Amour netted 2 in the 3rd along with Dan Quinn to cut the deficit in half.
Lemiuex added his 2nd of the game and 16th of the year in the 3rd.
