I was surprised the seat location actually sucked for them being a prize.

The first place Pirates came to town to face their cross state rivals.
Bob Walk for Pittsburgh faced righty Jose DeJesus. Dejesus went deep into the 8th.

It was a low scoring affair with both the Pirates and Phillies scoring their lone run early the game.
It wasn't until the top of the 10th with John Kruk on base that Dickie Thon singled to left field, driving in the winning run for the home team.

There were a combined 22 left on base. The Phils had 10 hits to Pittsburgh's 7 hits.

Don Carmen was credited with the win. The loss was given to Bill Landrum.

The Pirates had Barry Bonds and Bobby Bonilla in the line up. Bonds cranked a double in this game.
