Le Lost

Montreal Canadians v Philadelphia Flyers, April 12, 1995

The Spectrum, Section 59 Row 5

Love seeing the Canadians anywhere.

Not a good start for the Le Home Team.  Montreal's captain, Pierre Turgeon jumped out of the face off circle and almost immedialty onto the scoreboard with an unassisted goal at the :47 mark of the first.  Never good to have a goal scored on your team in the first of last minute of a period.  Omen?

An equalizer wasn't far behind.  Rod Brind'Amour and Kevin Dineen set up Flyer Brett Fedyk for a goal in the 3rd minute of the first.   Benoit Brunett pushed the Habs ahead again towards the end of the first allowing Montreal to take a 2-1 lead into the locker room.

Le Homers knotted up again in the 2nd when recently aquired Craig MacTavish scored an unassisted goal at the 12:17 mark. This must have angered the Enforcers.  Heavyweights Turner Stevenson and Flyer Shawn Antoski squared off a few minutes later.  On top of both of there fighting majors, Vincent Damphousse and Kevin Dineen found themselves in their respective bins.

Legion of Doomer Mikeal Reneberg took a feed from Eric Lindros for the game winning goal.
